iow, if his support keeps growing, it will give other Democrats some spine too.

But if you read that article, you can see that even those who mean well, are worried about the 'way he is behaving'. They are advising him to 'tone it down' eg, because he could easily 'marginalize' himself.

That won't happen if they back him up. And if he does win the next election, his style of politics, already loved by the people, might just become the new politics at least for Democrats. But for now, you can see, they are expecting him to burn out. And we the people must not let that happen.
