Cultural relativity, respect for misogyny because it is such a time honored tradition that anthropologists need to write some dissertations about to get a close look at the positives of beating women in a given, well-respected, perhaps superior culture.

I wouldn't register as a Democrat for a long time (reg independent, not Repuke) because I worried that political correctness was more important to liberals than women's human rights. I was glad to find that there are liberals that care about women beyond the borders of the US.
