18. Interesting response
Since I never addressed entitlement, so let's get this train back on the track.

The concept that Chicago lost because of the Bush years is the most simplistic silly nonsensical spin I've heard in a long time. Rev. Jesse is standing on a stage expecting a victory and well that didn't happen so instead of being a good sport about the loss all of a sudden it's all about Kyoto and Iraq, I really doubt that Kyoto and Iraq were part of any of the IOC backroom arm twisting, most people quite frankly are clueless to the workings of the IOC and that's the way they like it.

As far as the quotes from Susana Mendoza and Jan Schakowsky, well that's politics for you, nothing more than damage control, they need to get a little distance between them and a perceived issue that might come back to haunt them.

As far as Rio is concerned, good for them, my only fear is that the poor of Rio are going to be shoved out of sight and receive very little benefit from this event.
