247. No, the pattern here

is blind allegiance, about as far from critical thinking as you can get.

It is a blind follower, not a critical thinker, who reflexively dismisses and ridicules what is now multiple videotaped examples of corruption to the point of supporting child trafficking...just because she likes the organization involved. It is a blind follower who continues to mindlessly cheer a foreign leader who shares many of her political views, even when he begins engaging in acts that would appall her if committed by her own government.

Ideologues engage in binary thinking. They support their buddies, no matter the facts. Critical thinkers are able to look at someone they like and say, "Wait a minute here..." They are able to hold their ideas of right and wrong apart from the person or the organization.

These chortles do not reflect a pattern of critical thinking. In fact, they reveal just the opposite.

Sometimes the internet makes me very sad.
