Richard Jadick, a Navy doctor who served in Iraq during the 2004 Battle of Fallujah, talks about his experiences at an event hosted by the Library on Congress. Dr. Jadick and his team treated hundreds of Marines during the battle.

Richard Jadick, who worked at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore before volunteering to go to Iraq, was awarded the Bronze Star with a Combat V for his service in Iraq. He is currently a urology resident at the Medical College of Georgia.
