29. Anytime. Korea is kind of fun. It's cold as hell in winter, but it's an
interesting culture. If they're adventurous, and dress warmly when they need to, it's an opportunity to see a very different society, learn some interesting history, and have a unique memory together. If he goes ahead, he can scope the place out and make arrangements. He may even get permission to live off base (and thus, get the rent money for the place), which would make it easier for him to get set up before she gets there, and wouldn't necessitate his having to join forces with another couple.

Koreans have great food (though ya gotta watch out for the meat...woof, woof, if you know what I mean--but noodles, yummy, and I like kimchi, the spicy cabbage) and, funny how you remember things, they make some of the warmest underwear in the world, too!! Heh, heh! It's thick and keeps out the cold!!!

I think they should go for it--it's an opportunity for both of them that will not come again, even if she just goes over there for a few months. They'll regret it if they pass up the opportunity...!
