This is not the same as getting a bailout. AIG got TARP money and are responsible to pay it back. That's not UBS's problem.

Also, the article is not about banks that had claims paid by AIG. The article is about mergers that took place during the Bush administration. So again, the picture does not go with the story and says nothing about how Obama is dealing with the crisis. He is on vacation and golfing with a supporter who is a CEO of a bank which has been under heavy scrutiny since Obama has been president.

I think the effort of the OP to inflame unwarranted emotions among some of the posters here has worked. But I choose to keep my head on my shoulders and not connect dots where it doesn't make sense to. If you want to buy into the BS that both the OP and Commonwealth are trying to pull, you can glean whatever you want from it. But those of us who choose to think it through a little and can recognize when we are being played can do that as well.
