32. value in the appearance.
I think too many people disregard the value of the appearance of bipartisanship. IMO it has made the wingers look like the zealots they are and cast them as close-minded, uncaring solely political hacks with little or no regard for the cares and concerns of everyday Americans. In other words while strategically on the legislative level it's not accomplished much of anything it has at least forced the wingers to reveal their true nature for the whole country to see.And I think that in the long run there's a value there hard to see and measure.
