107. Ummmm...ok....I want to believe this...
...but I see no evidence that this is happening.

I really don't.

I hope it is, but frankly, it looks to me like the insurance lobbyists and big
business has won the day and that there will be no meaningful healthcare reform.

I'm willing to stay open minded and consider your theory--because, believe me, I'd like
nothing more than to be completely wrong.

One thing that bothers me--I don't see Obama spearheading this effort like he means it. Bush
took it on the road and rallied for Social Security reform. The man was focused like a laser
beam--on privatizing Social Security. They had orchestrated town halls and naysayers were kicked
out. They really tried to win the PR war. I don't see the same kind of effort from Obama.
I see him deferring to Congress---and Obama knows damn well that 95 percent of them are corrupt
bastards who are bought and paid for by the corporations. So...hello?

That's what I see.

But I will remain optimistic that your scenario is a possibility.
