Aspartame is not a neurotoxin. It's been studied to death and it doesn't degrade into its component chemicals at body temperature or even if it's boiled. Boiling it does partially degrade it and make it become far less sweet, but that's it.

There are alternatives to stainless and cast iron. Teflon is OK if you stick to low temperature cooking, crepes and omelets. My own pans are cast iron and steel, both seasoned well over many years and now non stick.

Finally, people are not rats and mice, and trace amounts of various things in our foods won't have the same effect on our physiology as massive amounts do on rats and mice. Take these studies with a pound of salt and practice moderation.

The rest of this is pretty good advice for people who want to avoid the most junk in their diets.
