He handled himself well against Matthews, came across as someone who wasn't about to open fire willy-nilly or threaten Obama or cops directly. He is appareently well educated and well read, though probably in literature that tells him exactly what he wants to hear--but that describes the majority of intelligent and literate Americans, including the majority of the left and those of us on DU. He's clearly a libertarian ideologue. His poster (referencing the "blood of tyrants" quote from a Timothy McVeigh t-shirt) suggests that he's also someone who likes to provoke emotional responses in people. That's also not an unfamiliar preoccupation with protesters on the left. Kostric is to the libertarian right what many of us on DU are to the egalitarian left: a symbol of the state of political discourse in 21st Century America, love it or leave it.
