Are you denying that Caesar was the representation for all government in the New Testament? There’s nothing about Mathew 25 that indicates it’s talking about government. If you think government is a different being today, try not paying your taxes and see how much it’s just “we the people”.

Please note, I wasn’t disagreeing with your larger point, just your use of Mathew 25 which has a long history of being used to justify larger government by those that really have no actual desire to apply Biblical principles to government. However, you can correct me if I’m wrong about that. Are you saying we need to start applying Biblical principles to the way we govern or are you yet another person who likes to use Mathew 25 but ignore most everything else?

Yes, the extreme self responsibility and expectation of others to do the same goes too far, it’s why they tend to be conservative rather than liberal.

BTW, I AM there and have been there since I was born.
