24. I was going to marry a friend of mine after 9-11. She has been here since she was 5yo
and her permanent resident papers were coming up. She had heard that they were denying everyone and was worried. I told her we could get married but we ended up not needing to. She was fine and allowed to stay. It did make her get into gear on getting citizenship though.
