5. The dirty little secret or not so secret, is the GOP insists on No
Public Option BECAUSE they want to get rid of Medicare. As long
as a Public Option is on the table--Government involved--means
they(GOP) will have a much more difficult time getting rid of
Medicare. Their objective to get as far away from Gov. involvement
in Health Care as possible. They are never going to admit this
openly because it is political suicide. Watch their actions.
If Medicare gets too expensive, they can say we have to end it
we cannot afford it. This is why Blue Dogs should be very
very careful. Or do they as Conservatives believe these programs
really do not belong in Government??? I surely hope not.
