reputable source with no comment. Read the original article carefully and you'll see it's full of weasel words that imply more than they state. The lie is repeated and amplified in later articles and on television appearances. The rebuttals appear on left wing Web sites or Public Radio. This is how well educated, reasonable people can be brought to believe absolute fantasy.


How many people were and are absolutely convinced that Saddam Hussein had something to do with 9/11 even though you'd be hard put to find a direct statement?

If we are to overcome the Republican Lie Machine, we need to understand how it works and drop our contempt of anyone who disagrees with us.
