...but have you ever taken a gander at some of the ground-breaking legislation we pass when no one's looking? Like non-binding resolutions in support of carrot fairs, or what-not?

Hell, I can't imagine being surprised about an American Idol resolution. Not one bit. Not after the whole baseball thing.
