| 91. It's not just corn syrup........ |
|
It's all the crap that's going into our foods now. High fructose corn syrup, preservatives, steroids and growth hormones, etc. I know he's a whack-job, but look at Ted Nugent and his wife. Ted's pushing 60 and is in great shape. His wife Shemayne admitted to never exercising, but she's (maybe) 110 lbs. My personal opinion is that they are in good shape because Ted kills everything they eat. Completely organic, no additives, fillers, or drugs. I'd love to live in the country again where I could do that. When I was a kid I'd get a little chubby eating all the junk food. Then I'd go to my grandparent's for a few weeks in the summer. All the vegetables we ate came out of their garden, and all the meat we ate was either from a cow my granddad had slaughtered (never given chemicals), deer from the previous winter, or catfish pulled out of the lake. That diet combined with my granddad putting me to work on the farm would cause me to come home a few pounds heavier, but with less body fat. I am a firm believer that it was because my body was able to get rid of all the man-made toxins and ingest healthy foods for a while.
