Cloaking it with the reasoning that they are "religious beliefs"
is an affront to logic.

HOWEVER- there are more than a few Muslim women who feel
more comfortable with their heads covered, etc. and feel it is
a personal expression of their faith.

That's the tricky part.

Who are we to tell anyone what they should or shouldn't wear?
