before obama made his "acted stupidly" comment, he admitted he wasn't familiar with the facts. also, since he is friends with gates, the comments naturally had the appearance of bias, whether or not they were. he has since APOLOGIZED for the comment. iow, obama admits what he said was wrong, has apologized for it, and has spoken to crowley personally. iow, he's being an adult and has man'd up for what he did. that's awesome.
