| 25. Al Gore is running on the issues, |
|
Edited on Mon Apr-09-07 11:16 AM by Uncle Joe
the planetary threat of Global Warming, and the threat against our Democratic Republic with his upcoming book "The Assault on Reason" not to mention his Martin Luther King day speech among others.
If the American People recognize these issues as imperative, they will demand Al run and money will not be an issue, if they don't, the mass corporate media will continue to choose our winner for us.
Maybe they will come up with a new slogan such as who would you be more comfortable having a merlot with, or did you see candidate A roll their eyes at candidate B during the debate, or why on earth is candidate C wearing a sweater? or candidate D is a rock star and we just luv him/her.
These and other superficial, vital issues will be covered ad nauseum by the mass corporate media, but more than anything else they will cover money because to them money is king. Al Gore believes as the founders did, we aren't ruled by kings.

| -If Clark or Gore were going to run for Prez, they would've declared by now. |

You can raise a crapload of money early on and still lose big. See Howard Dean. |

Clark didn't have general appeal (no pun intended). Name recognition carries a lot of weight. |
