...whether it's film, art, literature whatever. That's who we ultimately end up studying. Old white guys.

They run all the movie studios. Many were nerds in school, w/fantasies of getting "the hot chick." As such, that's how they cast their films. :shrug: Ultimately, it's not about us (women). Never was, never will be. Hollywood is the film reel for the patriarchical fantasy. Nothing more or less.

Anyone doubting it, need only look at the on-going turnstile of hot, new starlets cast in films. Many appear in one or two things and are never seen again, because someone younger and hotter always comes along. The over 30 actresses are put out to pasture.
