There are a few things people have the think about. Imus' remarks about the Rutgers women's basketball team is very different than the rap artists calling certain black women hos. Many people, especially white people use the excuse that rap artists call black women hos in their rap songs and videos all the time. However, many of these rap artists are not talking about all black women. Many of them are refering to the women who easily sleep with them just because they have money. Imus on the other hand insulted a group of black female who are enrolled at one of the elistest colleges in the United States. Rutgers, as far as I know is an Ivy League college. In addition, just about everything Imus said about these girls was false. None of them are "nappy headed hos". Finally, looking at the pictures of the girls on this post and looking at some footage of the game there seems to be no reason to fear any of these girls. Imus was wrong and should be fired. Not just because of what he said last week, but because of the racist remarks he and his team have made over the years. For years Imus has spewed racist hate.
