If these girls had been some right wing, Blond, white girls the right would be calling for Imus to be fired. However, this is a team composed of mostly black girls with a black coach. If Stringer is a Republican she is not one of the foaming at the mouth Republican, so she need not be helped. If stringer had dedicated her life to cutting people down with hate speech the right would be defending her. However, it is very likely she is a Democrat, who refuses to spew hatred; therefore, she, according to the right, does not have a right to be defended.

You are right about the right pretending to care about values. They only care about the people that spew their talking points. Just look at what happened to the guy who became a Republican and helped Bush win two elections. The moment he began to criticize Bush on the war the right turned on him. They only care about their own.
