that gluten can cause symptoms of urinary blockage. It says that aminopterin and melamine can cause those symptoms, as well as others. And that in a gluten-sensitive animal the effects of those toxins may be magnified. That makes sense because gluten-sensitivity affects the digestive tract, making it more porous -- easier for the toxins to get out into the bloodstream.
But this doesn't point to any conspiracy on the part of American wheat producers. That's a huge stretch. They don't want people to be afraid of wheat gluten, because many people will extend that fear to wheat in general. (Food labeling laws require that wheat and all of its "derivatives" be labeled as "wheat." "Gluten" doesn't have to be labeled.)
