61. You are right that there are many 'sub-forums' - the difference is
in how heavily enforced the rules are observed for the I/P issue.

I am not in ANY way saying I don't understand why- I do- What I'm saying is that pointing to the 'special forum' and trying to say the equivalent of "of course we discuss this openly and freely" is misleading.

Christianity is frequently addressed on GD- so are Gay issues- and many others which quite often burst into flames.

I DO remember what happened on GD last summer- I remember what happened in the spring of 2002 when tanks rolled into the refugee camps- and a bar-mitvzvah was the scene of a suicide bombing- It was pretty ugly here then too--

But I also believe what the OP states- that we have GOT to find a way to discuss this among ourselves-
We can't begin to deal with a problem, if we can't even discuss it openly.

And the future of this entire world may very well lay in the balance.
