8. I work with a young Republican. We know we don't agree on ANYTHING political
but I like him and I can tell he likes me. We're very friendly. Every once in a while something vaguely cultural or political comes up and we'll exchange perceptions, but not in any attempt to change the other person's perspective. To have someone like him know someone like me--a liberal that RW pundits can't demonize because he sees first-hand how the stereotypes aren't true--is worth more than I can say.

Sometimes all politics is personal.
