64. I presume you're referring to the stimulus package....
The one that was watered down in order to minimize deficit spending (perhaps a sound choice, but at odds with your billing of it as "New Deal"-esque spending)? The biggest since the 30s? Don't you mean the only one since the 30s? As in this sort of spending has been halfway ignored since the 30s (perhaps aside from the highway bills in the 50s that were aimed at creating an infrastructure for the busses that the oil industry wanted roaming the roads to use up their product...)

I guess you still think that the solutions and results of the 40s are "progressive"? Even the ones that are just a "tip of the iceberg" from the FDR model?

And I can readily see that pesky things like Equal Rights are about as important to you as the "progressive" 40s...

Hehe... and I chortle at the idea of you being "left of most DUers"... and at the same time "very much part of the "reality based community."..."

I'm not calling you a DLC stooge, or anything of the like... I leave it to you to prove yourself thusly... I am simply saying that Obama's administration thus far has done nothing "left of most DUers"... but rather only the most "centrist" of things. Hence, with your unmitigated support thus far... you are a de facto "centrist".

Show me 3 things that're truly progressive that Obama has accomplished and I'll admit that he's progressive. Show me 3 examples of your support of one of those progressive things, and I'll consider even granting you the title of progressive in my world.

You're up...
