Lightning causes 15 wildfires in Southern California

HIGHLAND, Calif. (AP) - Lightning from a weather system has sparked 15 wildfires across Southern California but authorities say none are currently threatening homes.

The U.S. Forest Service says the fires erupted today in the San Bernardino National Forest and the Santa Ana Mountains.

The largest is 150 acres. It's burning above the city of Highland in San Bernardino County.

State Route 330 in the area has been closed.

Yep, thunder and lightening in SoCal ~~ and in June... :wow:

Raining here right now ~~ and I can hear the thunder, but have really not seen any lightening. Totally weird weather.
