2. Distractions
It seems to me that Republicans are latching onto anything they can to take the attention off of themselves for all of their failures over the past 8 years. Instead of taking responsibility for their own actions and inactions that were detrimental to human beings and to this country, they seem to be adhering to the usual Republican M.O.: fingerpointing and trying to make it appear that Nancy Pelosi has done something more egregious than ordering and perpetrating tortures/waterboarding and other human atrocities as well as breaking international treaties, including one signed by a Republican President against torture, Ronald Reagan. They seem to want people to believe that someone, anyone, has done something more awful than that which the Bush-Cheney-Republican failure of an administration did over an 8 year period that nearly destroyed this country and saw so many lives lost, unnecessarily. Even after the American people gave them their collective pink slip and sent them packing, they continue to utilize the same failed methods and practices that got them fired in the first place. Do they ever learn?
