I don't meant that I don't believe them, but I'm starting to wonder if they really DID find the true cause of the problem. We are talking about a HUGH # of different brands of pet food here folks! So far, even the reporters looking on the dark side are saying they've had reports of 8,000 pets possibly affected. That doesn't sound believable to me. Menu Foodsrecalled 92 different brands, Hills & Alpo were added, and now products from Del Monte? Does it really sound like that much pet food would only affect 8,000 pets?

I think we're either dealing with a lot of over caution, or they haven't really found the real problem yet, and the real problem contaminated far fewer products that they now think.
