147. If they perform AS a wingnut, I'm not interested, otherwise
it has really nothing to do with it in my mind. For instance, Dennis Miller is a wingnut, not a problem, but his "act" is offensively wingnut and I have no interest in him. A counter example is John Travolta (maybe or maybe not a wingnut, but certainly a Scientologist). I'm no fan of the cult, but I have no proiblem watching his movies (except for that craptacular Battlefield Earth).

I simply don't know any of these people (or the political left's cohort) to make such judgements. Being republican in itself isn't worthy of a boycott, anymore than being a democrat makes one entertaining. The only ones being rewarded under the celebrity culture wars are those that don't speak out.
