I voted for Obama for the same reasons that I have voted for previous Democratic candidates, they and he are the lesser of two evils. Being the lesser of two evils is not the same as being good, sorry. It simply means that we will get the "good cop" treatment for the next four or eight years, and a few more crumbs will be thrown our way.

What is truly needed in this country is real change, the sort that we'll never get while our election system is controlled by Corporate American using corporate money. Until we get publicly funded elections for all offices, the two party/same corporate master system of government will continue unabated. We're seeing that now and we'll continue to see it until the American people wake the fuck up and throw off their corporate shackles.
