The seeds of the current economic meltdown were planted in the time of Ronald Reagan... and, unfortunately, nourished by Bill Clinton.

The free trade agreements that have killed the American middle class were largely started back in those days... along with the de-regulation of
our financial industries. All Bush did was remove the enforcement of what little regulation was left and add fuel to the fire of
globalization and class warfare.

Yes, there is the Iraq war... that is all W. And all of the Constitution destroying legislation that followed. And the spying and torture that
followed from that.

And so was Katrina and, in general, any of the incompetent government actions of the last 8 years... incompetent by DESIGN.

But the financial mess was started a long time ago.
