And I think that there's a great amount of variety in just what charitable actions (as opposed to church building improvements, etc) are taken on. Some churches, like your (and mine), make these sort of activities a priority - seeing them as absolutely central to our faith.

Unfortunately, that's not always the case. You don't get to build those mega churches filled with sound systems and big screens on nothing, you know?
