Dude, I want to apologize. It didn't hit me until I was brushing my teeth getting ready for bed. When I said, "gay and lesbian lifestyle" it sounded like I thought it was a choice. I don't believe that. By any stretch of the imagination. I think you have no more choice over your sexual orientation than you do the color of your eyes. If it was, in fact, a choice, it was never offered to me. When puberty hit, I just started feeling attracted to girls. I didn't have to think about it. I didn't mull over my options. It just happened. So if that's what happened to me, then I'm sure that's what happens to everybody else. So again, if I offended you, I do apologize. It was not my intent to imply anything other than the UCC accepts everyone as children of God and welcomes everyone with open arms. I'm sorry.
