but I'd rather be a fool in the eyes of mankind than a fool in the eyes of God.

Without Jesus Christ, I wouldn't believe in any 'religion'.

His words, of which I fail wonderfully all too often to live up to, are so meaningful and wildly liberal and compassionate that I cannot think anything other of that perfect will that inspires me to be a better person. He encompasses everything that is good and just, and even for those who do not believe, but have a heart of gold (like a certain person with a heart of gold who wrote the OP) - those precepts on how to live a life in a truly positive manner, ring true! For me, as a Christian, we are taught to be open-minded and respectful of whatever anyone else believes, as none of us is without fault in the eyes of God, and we are to love others as ourselves - there are plenty who at least attempt that noble feat, just like there are those who do not believe in Christ or any form of religion, who try to do the same.

As for NanceGreggs, and this amazing tribute to the behaviors that Jesus Christ wanted all to ascribe to, I say thank you. Thank you for appreciating the true love Jesus preached in respect to the weak, the downtrodden, the judged, the hated, the cursed, the widowed, the orphaned, the poor, the homeless, and the misunderstood.

You are and always will be my most wonderful 'treasure' I found here, and I thank the heavens for you, Nance. This was fantastic.

 :loveya: O8)
