4. I defaulted on that account too
ONly I had a balance that went UP every month, even when the minimum was paid. I figured I'd already paid them the amount I borrowed plus some interest, so fuck them and their bankers. I defaulted and they're still adding interest, compounded, at a resulting APR of close to what you're saying. I figure in a year or two more, I'll owe them more money than there is in the entire world! Good luck to them collecting it! :P
