It was about being rich. There is a difference. Donald may lose some money on his investments but due to the corporate structure he can set up many corporations none of which are directly affialiated with each other and if one goes belly-up the other ones are safe from having to pay the debts of the failed business.

Come on they trotted out Carly Fiorina as a succesful CEO during the campaign when she was fired from HP and the company she made her name at Lucent Technologies failed a few years after she left. Carly however is "succesful" because she gamed the system and now has alot of money. As far as being "succesful" in terms of making money for the businesses she was entrusted to run...well she's an absolute failure.
