44. I was an early reader, too.
My mother was a teacher and my father was a journalist, which is what I am now. You don't realize how lucky you are that your parents stressed reading until you grow up and see how illiteracy holds back people and keeps them back. I'm glad to hear Dolly's program has reached so far. Reading really is key. It opens up so many possibilities.
