107. Because we have the eternal desire to improve ourselves
We want our country to be better. WE are not willing to resort to violent means to achieve a political end. Our government has failed us many times, but we do not have the moral imperative to toss it aside and start from scratch. Our country is a great country, because we were founded on the belief that "all men are created equal". While we are still a little way from fully realizing that declaration, we are getting closer and closer each day. Lastly, we live in a civil society in which we have the freedom to voice our opinion without fear of retribution. The MSM is exercising their right to freedom of speech, and here on DU, so are we.
