6. Me, too.
But the converter boxes have arrived and soon I will find out if they work. I understand I will now have all the disadvantages of old cable and none of the perks: I won't be able to tape one channel and watch another channel. I will have to set the TV to the channel I want to tape. Which means I can't leave the house and tape two different channels while I'm gone.

Nobody had offered me anything that equals the convenience of my vcr for the same price. All these "improvements" offer me far less convenience unless I pay MUCH more money.

And most people I know have HD and DTV completely confused. Including me.
