A couple of things I saw on TV tonight

Well, early this morning, if you want to get technical about it. :)

First, I've never seen CSPAN and CSPAN-2 carry the same event at the same time, until tonight. But both channels showed Phil Graham, a man that is at least partially responsible for the sorry state of our economy right now, at the same time. Not synchronized. They were staggered by a few minutes. But I was trying to find some interesting public affairs programming to watch, and to my dismay, both channels were showing the very same event... Phil Graham speaking to the right-wing "think tank," the American Enterprise Institute. This is the same man who ran his unsuccessful presidential campaign on the slogan of "I failed the the first, second, and fifth grades..."

Is C-SPAN, and the cable television industry that funds them, trying to tell us something?

And I caught the tail-end of Hannity. He was trying to show how "biased" the network coverage is in favor of President Obama, when he presented a collage of clips from the "mainstream media."

Several of the clips seemed suspicious. I think they were YouTube parodies.

But I'm certain that the bit about "even the seagulls seemed awed by the inauguration of President Obama," came from the Daily Show.

Hannity was presenting a Jon Stewart produced clip mocking media coverage of the inauguration as an example of "mainstream media adulation of Obama."

I'm not sure if Hannity is so dumb that he can't tell the difference between the Daily Show and news. Or that he is certain that his viewers are that dumb.

Either way, it should piss us all off. I hate that little maggot bastard.
