52. Hard winter indeed. But take strength from reading about Valley Forge and
Washington's rag tag army in the terrible winters near Morristown. What ever we think of OUR tough luck in this day and age, they REALLY had it rough. And the new nation's survival literally depended on their grit and courage to keep going. Obama mentioned that in his speech. (Thank God for a presidents who knows history and READS!)
