You're probably right, but the Phalanx system can't react fast enough for the Sunburn. The SeaRAM probably could, though.

I just remember reading all that stuff from the Battleship admirals before Pearl Harbor.

The Straits of Hormuz are only 34 miles wide at the narrowest.

I'm probably being overly pessimistic, but all weapons have vulnerabilities, and that monster carrier must have lots of them. (Beside the fact that we can't afford them anymore.)
