Think about it. Assuring that everyone has equal rights has no impact on the other things you are talking about. There is no cost for guaranteeing that every person has all the rights of every other person.

It's not a competition. The right, for example, of people to marry whomever they choose does not impact the economy. No more people will be in the soup line. No more people will lose jobs. No more people will go hungry. The only effect will be that people can marry the people they wish to marry.

For pete's sake! Think about what you are writing.
