| Why I am not all upset about Prop 8 and Warren. |

Just to judge by what is posted here you would think that these are the most pressing issues that face the world.
But not to make light of the need for civil rights for all people that are equal but none of those rights mean a dam thing if you have to stand in line to get a bowl of soup and a crust of bread.
And who is married to whom will seem moot if there is chaos in the streets or other man made plagues on our life.
We must keep our eye on the ball if we want any meaningful change to our society. The worst thing we can do is to be so distracted by hot button issues that we pop up to the infield and have to go back to the dugout.
Change is about the fundamentals, and if you don’t realize it by now, the fundamentals must be changed before we can actually become the society that we want.
