For the most part, and I'm sure there are exceptions, churches DON"T accept anyone coming asking for help. They sent them elsewhere.

And those elsewheres are usually agencies, and a lot of them don't treat people very well, don't have many resources, and .... well, are often just a wild goose chase.

I appreciate your efforts, and there is definitely a need for people to help each other.

However, please remember that unless and until we start working for JUSTICE, there are many needs that won't get met.
