16. I want all the corruption to end.
Blago sounds like a pretty primitive thug. The really big corruption is practiced behind closed doors in the board rooms of America. And there is lots and lots of it -- all hidden. Oh, and the language, while vivid, is slightly more reserved. That's what makes me mad about this.

And this will be used to attack Obama. We will now have to listen to endless discussions of maybes, what ifs, and my second cousin's first wife's brother-in-law's business partner's best friend's great-aunt heard so and so say ya-dee-ya-da. The fanatical right will feast on this for the rest of the Obama administration.

So, assuming the allegations are true, will I be pleased to see Blagojevich out of office? Yes, but we do need prosecutions of the equally or even more corrupt and very highly placed Republicans who hang out in board rooms and hire underlings to carry their messages and receive favors and payments on their behalf.
