No, i don't think Spitzer's deal was political. The exposure of his sexual peccadilloes was political, sure. I can't even begin to argue against you on that point.
Siegleman, no question about the political nature of that, but that prosecutor was already known to be a political hack. Pat Fitzgerald is not.
