The problem is the people who proudly proclaim that since that is the case, you don't need worry or be concerned about it. You have no power to change things so move on. You have to accept it, they're your betters and obviously they ARE above the law, as they should be, and there isn't anything you can do.

That's what gets people, that it comes off sounding like this very republican attitude of "f**k you".
